Hi and welcome to my blog!
I am an author and a freelance writer. I write both fiction and non-fiction for children, young adults, and adults, and I’m especially interested in Jewish historical fiction.
My most recent book, The Return to Yerushalayim, is a collection of short stories set in the Second Temple era. My YA trilogy is set in Chanuka times. Many of my short stories were published in Hamodia. I believe that fiction can move us and inspire us in our avodas Hashem, and that is my goal.
In the non-fiction realm, I write well-researched and documented articles on Jewish experience throughout history, from recent to ancient, as well as news stories about local happenings, interviews with people who are worth getting to know, and just about anything that’s newsworthy. My articles have been published in Hamodia, Kankan Journal, Jewish Home LA, Jewish Press, Tachlis Magazine, and Kesher Magazine, among others.
I also homeschool, teach, and develop Jewish homeschool curriculum, which you can find at ani-ve-ami.com.
You can visit my Selected Publications page to see some of my writing. If you’d like to read more please subscribe to my mailing list. You’ll receive updates about new publications, as well as blog posts containing my musings about… whatever it is I happen to be thinking about.
Thank you for visiting and hope you enjoy this blog! I would love to hear from you! You can comment on the posts, or you can email me directly here.
