Meanwhile, my YA Chanuka trilogy is on sale at Feldheim!
And my Chanuka story collection, The Makings of a Miracle, is available in paperback and Kindle formats on Amazon.
My story A Star Shall Rise from Yaakov, about Bar Kochba’s revolt, is being printed in Inyan in two installments. The first installment was in last week’s issue, and the second will be in this week’s, IY”H.
I apologize for late notice – I didn’t realize it was last week until I actually opened the magazine on Shabbos.
Have meaningful Three Weeks!
My story, Across the Desert, will be in Hamodia’s Pesach Story Supplement this week, IY”H. It is a sequel to my story in the Sukkos supplement, following Elitzur’s journey from Yavneh to Bavel. Hope you enjoy it.
Chag kasher vesameach to everyone!
Happy Chanuka! Enjoy this excerpt from The Makings of a Miracle.
Want to read the rest of the story? You can get it in kindle format and continue reading right away! Or, if you are a patient soul, you can get this book in paperback.
Have a light-filled Chanuka!
My Chanuka stories are now available as a book! Choose paperback or kindle format.
The Makings of a Miracle: Chanuka stories by Yehudis LitvakCan Ovadia get along with the newest recruit in the Maccabee army, who was placed under his command? How can Tirtza’s widowed mistress save a besieged city? Will Chana manage to sit in the sukkah this Sukkos, despite the Greek decree against it? Experience the Chanuka story come alive in this collection of short stories depicting different aspects of that period of Jewish history.
These stories were originally published in Hamodia’s Inyan Magazine and since then have been used in classrooms by teachers all over the world. Recommended for ages 14 and up. Learn, or teach, about Chanuka in a fun and engaging way!
Hope you enjoy these stories, and please spread the word!
